The summer is the time of year when I pull out the guitar. Last summer I decided to make up a songbook so that I could have the songs I love to play easily at hand. One thing I found was that I needed chord diagrams for a few chords that I just don't play all the time (G, C, D, E, Em and Am play a ton of songs but not all of them!). Surprisingly I couldn't find an easy way to get chord diagrams so I tried making my own version. Using JavaScript this page allows you to create a chord by selecting the string - I built it so that I could see the actual note names. The chord diagram can be saved (just right-click it) as a png image which makes it easy to use in a wordprocessor. I hope you find it useful! |
